At Partido Inc. ("Partido," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the
Aspiro mobile application and website (the "Service"), we believe your
privacy is a sacred trust. This Privacy Policy describes how we
collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you
use our Service.
This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with standard venture-backed
startup practices, including requirements under the California
Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR), and mobile App Store guidelines.
1. Categories of Personal Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with the Service, we may collect the
following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers: Your name, email address, phone number,
network IP address, and mobile advertising/attribution identifiers (such
as mobile advertising identifiers and developer-specific vendor identifiers).
- Commercial Information: Transaction records, subscription
details, and purchase history processed by Payment Processors.
- Internet or Electronic Network Activity: Standard usage
logs (features accessed, session duration, click telemetry) and device
configuration metadata (OS type/version, device model, app version, crash
logs).
- User-Generated Content: Prayers, reflections, posts,
messages, comments, and other content you generate, share, or post on
the Service.
- Communications: Content of inquiries submitted to our
legal, compliance, or support channels.
2. Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information from the following categories of
sources:
- Directly From You: Data you enter during registration,
profile setup, and content creation (User Content).
- Automatically From Your Device: Telemetry, logs, and
network activity captured during app interactions.
- Third Parties: Payment Processors (for billing status
updates) and third-party attribution platforms (for acquisition campaign
analytics).
3. How We Use Your Information
We process your personal information to run our business and provide
the Service, specifically:
-
To manage your account, generate your social feed, enable group
sharing, and process billing.
-
To power our AI companion features to generate relevant reflections
based on your prompts.
-
To identify bugs, prevent security threats, detect fraudulent
behavior, and enforce our Terms of Service.
-
To measure the performance of our user acquisition campaigns and
optimize return on marketing spend.
Zero Model Training on Private Data: We do not use your
personal, raw private prayers, reflections, or private direct messages to
train our public generative AI models. We use anonymized, aggregated telemetry
(such as click data and event volume) strictly to improve app functionality.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data to data brokers. We share your
personal information only under these specific conditions:
- Marketing, Analytics, and Attribution Partners: We partner
with third-party mobile attribution platforms and advertising networks
to measure and optimize our campaigns. These partners collect and process
mobile advertising identifiers and app conversion events (such as app
downloads, account sign-ups, and subscription purchases) via secure integrations.
This data is used to analyze marketing efficiency and measure the return
on ad spend.
- Cloud Infrastructure & AI Service Providers: We host
our infrastructure and process data (including your prompts and queries)
using secure cloud hosting and artificial intelligence service providers
(such as cloud database and large language model providers). These providers
are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other
than providing hosting and processing services to us, and they are strictly
barred from using your content to train their public models.
- Social Sharing Features: When you share User Content
on the Service, it is visible to other users according to the privacy
and visibility settings you configure in the app.
- Legal and Safety Disclosures: We may disclose your personal
information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or if we believe
in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any
individual, prevent fraud, or protect the integrity of the Service.
5. International Data Transfers
- Processing Locations: Partido Inc. is based in the United
States, and we host and process data globally, including on servers located
within the United States.
- Consent to Transfer: By using the Service, you acknowledge
and agree that your personal information may be transferred to, stored,
and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where privacy
laws may not be as protective as those in your home country.
6. Data Security Safeguards
- Protective Measures: We implement reasonable physical,
technical, and administrative security measures designed to protect your
personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
- Inherent Risks: While we strive to protect your personal
data, no security system is completely impenetrable. We cannot guarantee
the absolute security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that the
information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted
to us over the internet. You use the Service at your own risk.
7. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to
fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer
retention period is required by law.
- Account Deletion Request: You have the right to delete
your account at any time. When you request account deletion, your personal
identifiers and private content are permanently marked for deletion and
purged from our active databases.
- Persistence of Shared Content: Content that you have
posted to shared feeds, circles, or groups, or sent via direct message,
may remain visible to other users on the platform because it is associated
with their active feeds.
- Disaster Recovery Backups: Encrypted copies of our databases
maintained for disaster recovery are retained for a limited cycle in accordance
with our standard data rotation schedules before being overwritten.
8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
The Service is not intended for or directed to children under the age
of 13. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal
information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has
created an account or provided us with personal information, please
notify us immediately at [email protected]. If we discover we have inadvertently collected personal information
from a child under 13, we will immediately take steps to delete such
data and terminate the account.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as California or the European
Economic Area), you have specific privacy rights:
- App Tracking Settings: You can restrict or opt-out of
the collection of mobile advertising identifiers by declining tracking
permissions when prompted by your device, or by disabling tracking in
your device settings.
- Access, Portability, and Correction: You may request
access to the personal data we hold about you, request that it be ported
to another provider, or request corrections to inaccurate data.
- Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal
data, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Opt-Out of Sharing/Targeted Ads: We do not sell your
personal data for money. However, sharing mobile advertising identifiers
and conversion events with third-party attribution and advertising partners
for measurement and attribution may be classified as "sharing" or "processing
for targeted advertising" under CCPA/GDPR. To opt-out of such sharing,
you may adjust your device privacy settings or email us at [email protected].
